Tuesday 3 April 2012 - Cycle day


Good evening everyone,

I had an ok day except for lunch. I went out to lunch with a wonderful and a beautiful friend and I really needed the company. She is really my rock at the moment. I didn't have the 'set lunch' and I ate too much but it was so yummy.

I did the cycle class this morning and as usual really enjoyed it. If you can do a cycle class, all the instructors are so good but remember to book in well before the class.

I came home early from work today as I was feeling very sick. I went bed and had a sleep for about an hour. I really wanted to go to the gym tonight but I am way too tired. So I am off to bed and hopefully I will be able to get up in the morning and go to the gym.

Monday 2 April - Week 3


Wow, the beginning of week three already. I really need to get my act together. I am very impressed with myself today, I have managed to drink 2.3 litres of water already today. Still hungry though, thanks to my colleague at work she had some almonds for me this afternoon. I ate two and this really helped.

I had my pt today boy, did I train hard. I did not know that I could sweat so much. Thanks Kim for making me work hard.

Sunday 1 April


Wow, how great was the weather yesterday and this morning then the rain. I did loads of gardening, lots of lifting and walking.

I still went down to the park this afternoon as I was suppose to do the beep test. I remember subjecting the kids to the beep test at school when I was a teacher I don't remember any of them complaining as much as I am. However, it had to be postponed for two weeks. I still went for a walk/run (yes, Tracey and I did jog a few times, thanks Tracey, love you heaps).

Thanks to this blog I am now sitting here sipping water and it makes me remember to drink more water. Not too sure because it is cold tonight but I am so hungry. I have eaten everything so far on the list but I am still hungry. Any suggestions??????

Not too sure about anyone else but every time I exercise for at least hour I really get a high. I have so much energy at the moment when I got back from the walk/run I did so much housework and then went shopping.

Tomorrow morning is my personal training session. I love my pt session, I such an awesome trainer (thanks Kim). I really try hard at my pt session, just love having a one on one exercise time. Hope everyone went well today.

Week One is over - phew and almost week two....


A big welcome to anyone who is reading this, either you are also doing the challenge or family or you haven't taken your medication for the day (only joking). I do plan from today onwards I will 'blog' each day about how I am doing and feeling and will be as honest as possible (honest Donna L, I will).

Wow, week one is already over and almost week two. I have tried to be so good however I strayed for two seven days so far. As a consequence, I put on weight (WT....). Now I have to really exercise hard as well as eating better. No excuses but it was made to realise that I am an emotional eater.

One of my biggest challenges is COKE ZERO!!!!. (My name is Pauline and I am a coke zero addict). I really need to cut out the coke zero. I have cut it down to three cans a day (which is a lot) but that needs to be down to one can per day this week and really increase my water intake.

I have met and seen some wonderful, dedicated people at the gym who are doing amazing. I really admire them and it does motivate me to keep going. I don't know about other people, once I am at the gym I enjoy the exercising, it is just getting there. (I am really going to try, hand on heart).

Today I will need to do the bleep test and then a run/walk around the lake. Hopefully I will see you there.
